Hello, my name is Deborah and I'm here to help you.
Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, and you’ve already taken the first one by being here.
I offer a calm, confidential and supportive space where you can talk openly about whatever issues you’re struggling with right now. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck or just unsure about where to turn, you no longer need to cope alone.
My counselling practice is based in Wivelsfield Green, within easy reach of Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill and Lewes. My counselling room is quiet, cosy and private with its own entrance and plenty of street parking nearby.
If you’re thinking about counselling or just want to know more, I’d love to hear from you. You’re welcome to get in touch; every enquiry is treated with care and confidentiality.
I can help you
YOUR EXPERIENCE
What would your life look like if you didn’t have to cope with the endless daily fear of anxiety? Are you always worried that an anxiety attack could be lurking around the next corner; chest pounding, heart racing, a panic attack or feeling trapped? Are you battling with depression and it’s leaving you feeling disconnected and cut off from others. I know how you’re feeling; I work with people just like you and others too, who are struggling in relationships, trying to manage stress, or coping with the distress of grief.
How might it be instead, to face each day with the possibility of feeling hopeful, safe, and connected; able to cope, and to find meaning and purpose? I’ll teach you effective practices to manage your anxiety and together we’ll explore the cause of your depression. We’ll explore the challenges you’re experiencing in your relationships and find ways to manage your stress. I’ll be with and alongside you through your grief journey. Whatever issue you’re struggling with, our work together will focus on alleviating your pain and suffering.
Are you feeling stuck and would like to make changes? Or perhaps, address a deeper issue and don’t know where to start. Taking that first step can feel daunting and I’d like to help you. I’m an experienced Humanistic Counsellor and support people just like you, struggling with these and other issues.
